Exactly one year ago I snapped this - just as we were closing up our studio for the unknown ahead. The whiteboard was filled with plans - new studios, shows, content. But sometimes life has its own.

In the next few days, we’d lose more money than I could imagine. The next few months saw us without salaries to make sure the team stayed afloat.
.
“Lost” wouldn’t be how I’d describe it. That would have meant there was a “way to be found”. It didn’t feel like that at all.
.
But on this same day, I’d begin recording life at home which has become the most precious collection of memories I have. To keep creativity going, the team created TDRS and continued podcasting. These became new bridges to a community all in the same situation as us.
.
And somehow, these opened new doors to new clients and work.
.
The next season saw us spending the darkest year of work suddenly building with brands we’d never imagine we’d build with. Breaking records in new forms of media we’ve never tried. And building a new team of new skills we’ve never had.
.
Don’t get me wrong, we’re not out of it just yet. But I’m a believer of this for sure:
.
If you’re going through hell, keep walking.
But I pray you’ve got the right people around you And the right Purpose in front of you.
